Appointment as Chair of the National Academy of Engineering Electronics, Communication and Informations Systems Search Committee

The US National Academy of Engineering, one of the three branches of the National Academy of Sciences, has appointed Prof. Dieter Bimberg for the year 2022/3 to serve as vice-chair, for 2023/4 as chair and for 2024/5 as past-chair of the Electronics, Communication and Information Systems Engineering Search Committee, which includes all photonics work world-wide.
